Devaki Devi

By way of Introduction, I am Ms Devaki Devi Gundimeda, a Commerce graduate with a post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from IGNOU, New Delhi.

I am currently based in Bangalore and doing voluntary teaching for under privileged students, through electronic media. Over last two decades, I have varied experience, in various industries like, cosmetics, pharma equipment, engineering valve manufactures and Insurance. Also, a stint in financial Inclusion for micro and digital banking and Corporate Soft skill trainer.

My work experience enabled me to interact with various strata of society and I did gain lot of people management skills.

Such interaction led me to understand that there was a gap in many people’s lives and I realized that such gap was due to lack of good career counselling for such people at the right time.

I felt that there was a need to provide good career counselling to various people at the right time of their life so that it will be useful to them in myriad of ways.

With that objective in mind, and provide career counselling as a viable solution to student community, particularly within age group of 14-16 years, I have decided to offer career counselling. 

APPROCH AND METHODOLOGY:

I shall strive to do effective career counselling to such students so that they realise their full potential. My career counselling would focus on the following:

Learning Styles and skills

Working and overcoming identified weakness

Focus on Academic improvement

Improve Social Standing

Networking with likeminded and right People

Enabling them to understanding their values and Principals 

Financial discipline.

My goal is to do a very honest career counselling session for aspirants who seek to improve their lives.
