Dr Gireesh Tripathi

Dr. Gireesh Tripathi currently serves as a Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences and holds a senior administrative position as an Administrative Officer at the university level. He brings with him more than 14 years of academic and research experience along with over nine years of administrative expertise in the higher education sector.

Dr. Tripathi has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical research and innovation. He has successfully guided six postgraduate research scholars in pharmaceutical formulation projects, thereby contributing meaningfully to academic research and innovation in the field. Alongside his teaching and research responsibilities, he is actively involved in academic publishing and editorial work, serving as the editor for two reputed academic journals and editor of two scholarly books, reflecting his dedication to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the advancement of academic scholarship.

His research contributions are extensive and impactful. Dr. Tripathi holds thirteen patents, including three international patents, along with two registered copyrights. His scholarly work has been widely published in numerous peer-reviewed national and international journals. Furthermore, he has authored and contributed to seven books and thirty-nine book chapters, demonstrating his strong engagement in academic writing and knowledge development.

In recognition of his excellence in academia, leadership, and administrative contributions, Dr. Tripathi has received several prestigious national and international honors. These include the University Service Award, the Indian Glory Award 2024 for excellence in university documentation and administration, the Outstanding Leadership Award at the Asian Education Conference for sustained academic excellence, and the Bharat Shiksha Ratan Award for promoting joyful and experiential learning aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education.
