About the counselor :-
Leveraging
my extensive background in both technical (Manufacturing industry i.e.
metals, mining, chemicals, power plant,
fabrication, smelting) and human
resources, security and Administration provides a unique opportunity to add
value to individuals' lives in several ways. My ability to bridge the gap
between technical expertise and people-centered practices allows for
specialized contributions. Here are some ways to make an impact:
- Offer Specialized Career Guidance: Provide coaching to individuals in technical
fields, particularly those in the engineering fields, who are seeking
career advancement or considering a transition into management or HR
roles. Your firsthand experience navigating both worlds makes your
insights particularly valuable.
- Mentor Aspiring Professionals: Mentor individuals who are starting their
careers or facing challenges in technical fields. Sharing your journey
and insights can provide valuable guidance and inspiration, particularly
for those from underrepresented groups looking to navigate these
industries.
- Facilitate Cross-Functional Understanding: Work within organizations to improve
communication and collaboration between technical departments and HR teams.
Your understanding of both perspectives can help create a more cohesive
and productive work environment.
- Share Knowledge Through Content: Write articles, blog posts, or speak at events
on topics that combine your expertise, such as the importance of soft
skills in technical roles, managing career transitions, or building
effective teams in industrial settings.
- Help with Workforce Adaptation: Develop programs or workshops to help
individuals in technical fields understand how to leverage their skills in
changing industries or economic landscapes, offering practical support
for career transitions
