I am an Economics graduate who went on to do a post graduate Diploma in Business Administration and later on found my true calling in Career Counselling. For me, seeing so many children confused in their subject or college selection, career choices and the direction forward instilled in me a desire to help them navigate their school and career path successfully and achieve their dreams and desires. It is amazing how no two children, adolescent and adults are alike and all the more reason to customize and direct an individual’s career path, based on their abilities, aptitude, interest and personality. Helping a student find the right career is very critical to help them find their passion and true calling. A career is an integral part of a person’s life and hence it matters a lot that one is happy, driven and satisfied in the career they choose.

To understand the psychological aspects of counselling to help my clients better, I first took up a Certification in ‘Fellowship in Psychology Counselling’, ‘Child & Adolescent Counselling’ and ‘Emotional Wellness Coach’, before I became a Certified Career Counsellor from Univariety and UCLA.

I have been working as a freelance Career Counsellor for over a year . As a parent of a young adult and a teenager, I have the added experience of understanding a child and teenager’s psychology and also being a good friend, counsel and confidante to my students who are seeking help and guidance in their career decisions and other personal and psychological issues.
