Sunil Balakrishna

Sunil Balakrishna is a Certified Career Counsellor and Coach from the International School of Counselling and Holistic Studies (ISCHS), accredited by the International Career Counsellors Club (UK) and registered under NCS (Govt. of India). He holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and brings with him nearly 25 years of distinguished corporate experience. He has successfully managed and set up global teams, calibrated recruitment processes and built systems for lateral and leadership hiring, campus recruitment and resource management.

His career journey includes HR, Recruitment roles with large MNCs like Motorola, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Wipro and Cognizant, culminating in his position as Vice President and Head of Recruitment at a leading staffing firm. In this role, he is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent for clients of global repute. This unique blend of corporate wisdom with career counselling expertise enables him to guide individuals with both strategic insight and empathetic mentoring to aim precisely and achieve career success.

He founded CareerAsthra with a vision to empower Students, Graduates and Professionals to build careers that reflect both their strengths and aspirations.
