career counselling I want to take robotics as my careerYes, a vocational higher secondary student can take Robotics. But student must have a bachelor’s degree (B.E / B. tech). Electrical Engineering is one of the best majors to pursue a career in Robotics. Related fields are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science etc. 60% is the minimum score required but depending on the University, it may vary.
Countries like Japan and Europe are leading in Robot developments.
Yes, Vocational Higher Secondary student can take robotics, as VHSE complete with related course. VHSE Course duration is same as 2 years. It is equivalent to the HSE.
Robotics is a branch of technology that deals with physical robots. Robots are programmable machines that are usually able to carry out a series of actions autonomously, or semi-autonomously.
In my opinion, there are three important factors which constitute a robot:
A. Robots interact with the physical world via sensors and actuators.
The authorities that admit candidates decide the eligibility criteria for admission to the Robotics engineering course. It is important for the candidates to check the course eligibility criteria in order to avoid any rejection at any later stage. The eligibility criteria include requirements based on educational qualification and minimum marks.

For Master Courses: To apply for a master degree (ME/M.Tech), candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) or any other related branches of engineering.
B.Tech /BE in Electronics /Mechanical /Electrical /Computer Science and Engineering/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering are eligible to take admission in M.Tech programme.
