Yes, a vocational higher secondary student can take Robotics. But student must have a bachelor’s degree (B.E / B. tech). Electrical Engineering is one of the best majors to pursue a career in Robotics. Related fields are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science etc. 60% is the minimum score required but depending on the University, it may vary.

Countries like Japan and Europe are leading in Robot developments.

 Yes, Vocational Higher Secondary student can take robotics, as VHSE complete with related course. VHSE Course duration is same as 2 years. It is equivalent to the HSE.

Robotics is a branch of technology that deals with physical robots. Robots are programmable machines that are usually able to carry out a series of actions autonomously, or semi-autonomously.

In my opinion, there are three important factors which constitute a robot:

A.    Robots interact with the physical world via sensors and actuators.

2. Robots are programmable.
3. Robots are usually autonomous or semi-autonomous.

Eligibility

The authorities that admit candidates decide the eligibility criteria for admission to the Robotics engineering course. It is important for the candidates to check the course eligibility criteria in order to avoid any rejection at any later stage. The eligibility criteria include requirements based on educational qualification and minimum marks. 

Educational Qualification 

1. The candidate applying for this course must complete 10+2/equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for this course. 
2. Also, those candidates who have completed a diploma in robotics technology or automation technology can also apply for this course through lateral entry.

Minimum Marks 

1. Candidates who have secured a minimum of 55 percent aggregate marks in PCM (physics, chemistry and maths ) / PCB (physics ,chemistry and biology) will be eligible. 
2. Along with these requirements, the candidates will also have to appear for entrance examinations to get admitted into robotics engineering course.

For Master Courses: To apply for a master degree (ME/M.Tech), candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech) or any other related branches of engineering. 

B.Tech /BE in Electronics /Mechanical /Electrical /Computer Science and Engineering/ Instrumentation and Control Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering are eligible to take admission in M.Tech programme.

Robotics involves building robots physical whereas AI involves programming intelligence.

AI :- Generally, most entry-level AI jobs demand a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Information Technology. However, senior-level job roles (managerial/administrative or R&D roles) require a candidate to have a master’s degree or a Ph.D. in the fields mentioned above or any other related field (Engineering).

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science. It involves developing computer programs to complete tasks that would otherwise require human intelligence. AI algorithms can tackle learning, perception, problem-solving, language-understanding and/or logical reasoning.

As for the skills and knowledge, an aspiring AI professional must possess in-depth knowledge in the following domains:
